Leave it all to Google to make even the most ordinary tasks become intuitive and pleasant experience. This time they've handled the tasks of holiday shopping and browsing with the release Google Catalogs, an applications lets users browse catalogs tablets only from dozens of retailers around the county.

Navigation in Google Catalogs is pleasant and smooth. Simply select a catalog that interests you, and flip through pages with a smooth circular motion. One of the greatest strengths is the speed rendering app, pages load quickly, which means you'll spend more time reads and less time waiting for load pages blurred. You can pinch to zoom to read small sections of text, and you can jump wherever in the catalog via a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. While the app is very smooth and easy to use, the library catalog can be improved. It feels as though there is not enough variety here. Then again, it all depends on who you are shopping for.

All in all, the whole experience makes browsing for gifts is really fun, which is testament to how well designed application. Go grab the Google catalog and pick yourself out something nice, you get it.[source]
